Catch a special spring bear show, Manitoba Bruins, with Joe Thomas and Excalibur’s Outdoors America this week, 8/7/2017-8/13.
It was filmed just this last June. It was Joe’s fourth hunt with us and his second spring bear hunt. On his first, Joe took a nice bear and his son took an absolute monster. We don’t want to spill the beans but 2017 did not disappoint. This episode really catches the epitome of what sets the CSAH spring bear hunt apart from all the rest. Check it out , air dates are–

Ganglers Fly-In Lodges will be exhibiting at the new Texas Fly-fishing & Brew Festival at the Plano Center in Plano Texas March 11 and 12. The event was conceived by Beau Beasley, a Virginia guide who has run a similar event very successfully in Virginia for 17 years. The event is tailored to everyone from beginners to experts. Everything from tackle companies to the experts will be onhand. Lefty Kreh, Bob Clouser, Ed Jaworowski and a host of others will be onhand to share casting lessons, fly-tying, and other tips. Best of all, Beau has paired up the festival with many of the area’s finest microbreweries who will be onhand to share their craft and products. What a fun concept ! Flyfishing and custom crafted beer- who would have thought of it ? If you like fly-fishing, obviously a great stop but if you are taking in the show and would like to discuss a hunt, please stop by too. Gangler’s was awarded the 2015 Outfitter of the Year award- Top Donor at the recently concluded 2015 Wisconsin Safari Club banquet. Owner Ken Gangler was presented the award by Auction Chairman Dave Bahl Jr. during their two day March 7-8 event.
The Wisconsin SCI chapter consistently wins Safari Club International’s Top Gun award as their highest revenue raising chapter and repeated again in 2014-15. The chapter, currently led by President Michael Betters, consists of many great men and women who give their time and effort tirelessly to create a great chapter and raise money to support our outdoor rights. They are an impressive group.
This was the 20th year Ganglers has attended the Wi event. Over 200 Chapter members and friends have fished and hunted with us in that time. We are proud to have been associated with them and look forward to 20 more !
