The 2015 Fall season definitely had its challenges. Late arriving with milder temps, it definitely stalled both our caribou migration and our moose rut. Even despite the challenges, we still enjoyed an awesome moose hunt. Hunters were 18 for 22, an 82% success rate. According to our guides, they only started to rut the end of our first week as the leaves began to drop. The largest moose was a 58″ monster and 5 were 50″ or better. Several were in the high 40s. We still have virgin areas untouched which we hope to open next year.
