CSAH hunter Bill Eurice took an absolute Manitoba monster, what may be Manitoba’s largest moose of the year with a 65.25″ spread. It is a magnificent animal with full armor. This is the second largest moose ever taken with CSAH, the largest a 66″. Congratulations Bill and his guide, longtime vet Dave Lower.

As we are about to close our fishing season, we are seeing encouraging signs for the upcoming Fall. Water levels are excellent and there have been numerous moose sightings this summer. Word has spread from the North that snow has hit the caribou calving areas and it appears a good chunk of the herd has begun to move. We will keep you posted as we get closer to the season.
We are sharing a great article written by 2017 caribou hunter Martha Harding contributing writer/hunter for Sci Wisconsin’s Hunters magazine. Martha and her husband were on our third hunt in 2017 and after 2 very successful weeks, the herd suddenly dwindled. Reconnaissance flights showed a nice section of animals 30 miles to the east. CSAH quickly shifted gears and, weather-permitting, tried to get as many of our hunters over to these animals.
We are happy to report our 2018 season is almost sold-out. Spring bear is sold-out and we have a handful of openings the first two weeks for caribou and one moose hunt left for Sept. 29-Oct. 6. If you can not make 2018, give us a call on 2019 which is filling at this time as well.
